A Great Brand

We enjoy near universal brand recognition in Canada, and have built an emerging presence in our markets in the Northeast and Midwest U.S.

In Canada, the Tim Hortons brand is ubiquitous. From hockey rinks and soccer fields to the workplace and family drives, stops at Tim Hortons are part of everyday life for millions of Canadians. We enjoy near universal brand recognition in Canada and a large portion of our guests visit us multiple times each week. Our iconic coffee, the cornerstone of our menu, enjoys a compelling market position in the Canadian marketplace.

In the United States, we have built an emerging presence in our markets in the Northeast and Midwest U.S., doubling our restaurant count in the past five years. We are working to accelerate the brand building process, creating convenience for our guests, driving advertising scale and designing innovative, grassroots marketing and advertising. Our U.S. guests can now enjoy our coffee and other products at key NBA, NHL and college football stadiums, such as the University of Michigan and Ohio State University. Our international expansion is also underway, with 24 restaurants now open in the Gulf Cooperation Council.
